For Weatherfield’s this July has been busy in more ways than one.
We have seen bookings start to return, whilst people are feeling a little more confident and looking to book smaller events for the month of August.
It will be a case of blowing the cobwebs away for the team and maybe doing a few stretches before we hit the road again. I can see we might ache for a day or two once we start.
With the changes in social distancing guidelines and the go ahead for larger outside events including theatre, drive-in movies and concerts, it all looks promising and may be the start the events industry and associated companies and people have been hoping for.
"With the time we have had available, it has given us the opportunity to catch up with some of our suppliers and look at new products that we will be offering for the 2021 season. Exciting times!"
We can help with providing a marquee or covered area large enough to allow suitable room for your guests, customers or clients to feel comfortable whilst following the guidance or just to give space for those who may fall within a vulnerable group by way of a VIP area
We have also been working on a number on new projects and ideas that will be announced in the coming months. Although we haven’t been out erecting too many marquees which we would normally be doing this time of year doesn’t mean we have just sat back.
We have been working relentlessly in the office sorting all of our existing customers and contacting them each in turn to ensure all is ok.
The number of enquiries we have received has increased and we are finding that next year is looking rather full with a number of weekends already fully booked. We have also been out visiting a number of new clients and carrying out site visits. It’s always great to meet in person and get a true feel for what they want and provide them with any information along with help, support and a smile.
If you have made or received a recent wedding proposal and chosen a date in 2021 then please don’t delay in contacting us for your quotation and we will get back to you promptly, whilst there please have a read of our previous blogs and look over our gallery from past events for ideas and inspiration.

Keep a look out over the coming month when we start to release more information.
We had been working on a new permanent installation and structure in Newmarket just before lock down started. We were happy to complete this finally at the start of the month. This was a first for us installing a small wood burning stove in the middle of a marquee to take the chill of a cool summer evening, with the additional of soft LED lighting and ivory lining, all helped add to the feel of a luxury chill out area for our customers home.
We don’t just hire we sell new and used marquees too.
With the availability of various grants to different sectors which included leisure, retail, hospitality and sport, we have been asked to provided a number of quotations to support various clubs and businesses applications to help fund a range of semi permanent structures. This is to help provide mainly additional undercover spaces to dine, socialise or exercise within. We will keep you posted in their progress as we hear more.
So to summarise,
A return to small functions, a busy office, grant funding support and new projects and products.
A busy July.
